Bob and Betty were family friends. I remember my dad taking me into The Shell Store when I was six years old to start my collection. From that point I started collecting shells in Florida by walking beaches and flats and snorkeling and then started selling specimens in the late 1990's. Bob was famous for his work with Marginella and wrote a book on this family of shells. They were both key figures in the St. Petersburg Shell Club.
