This description is from their website -Imported from Creative Ceramics in Europe, these are simply the finest slumping molds on the commercial market. Slipcast from a specially formulated clay body, they have an exceptionally smooth surface, accept kilnwash uniformly, and do not crack under repeated usage if handled properly. **Because this mold has been used previously, it has boron nitride sprayed on it (keeps the glass from sticking to the mold). Note that one end of this mold has some rubbed off due to handling. You can easily clean, lightly sand, the boron nitride off of the mold and start over (research how to do that. I will not be held responsible for removing the existing boron nitride and then glass sticking to the mold or other mishaps). More than likely some more of the mold release will come off due to the mold itself being wrapped and package so again, I will not be held responsible for any mold release that has come off during that process. Boron nitride is a soft powdery substance (after it's sprayed on and dry) that removes easily and is messy. **Please refer the the Creative Ceramics website or Bullseye website for instructions.
