The chair comes apart splitting into 2 pieces by 1 screw underneath the seat I'm assuming for easy storage and transporting. These were used as Birthing Chair's by the towns Doctor or milking chairs by the town's farmers. Very unique one of a Kind. Amazing Craftsmanship all Hand Carved with exquisite detail and embroidery of knights and Towers.
