SOUND VALVES / DYNACO 6GH8A Driver Board COMPLETE KIT (STEREO 70, ST70, ST-70)

Description: You are bidding on (1) new Dynaco Stereo 70 6GH8A bare/blank driver board kit, complete with all parts. We purchased the remaining inventory of the Sound Values/Stereo Cost Cutters operation and have been selling just the bare board for a while; however do to customer requests, we have now sourced all the components required to complete the board and can now offer the complete kit for the hobbyist who would rather not have to spend the time tracking down all the various resistors and capacitors. Kits include the bare board, all the components required to stuff the board (individually bagged and marked with values), and two NOS tested 6GH8A driver tubes. We are also including the parts required to rebuild the bias supply: two 100uF X 100VDC electrolytic caps and a diode kit to replace the troublesome selenium rectifier. These boards use the plentiful (and affordable) 6GH8A tubes versus the original 7199 tubes. Similar to our own assembled/stuffed Vintage Electron PC-3B 6GH8A driver board (listed in our eBay store) but uses a slightly different circuit. We include a copy of the original Sound Valves installation manual which also includes the component placement locations (and values). We still offer just the bare board (without parts, tubes, and bias supply parts) if that is your preference, just go to our store and search for Sounds Valves bare board. Vintage Electron Inc. possesses the largest inventory of NOS Dynaco parts available anywhere in the world, having purchased both the remaining warehouse inventory of the old Sound Values/Stereo Cost Cutters Inc. (SV/SCC) operation as well as the remaining inventory of the old Dynaco National Service Center. SV/SCC was the company that purchased nearly 250,000 pounds of Dynaco parts when Dynaco closed it’s doors back in 1979; they also purchased the existing Hafler inventory from the Rockford Fosgate Corporation back in the early 1990‘s. Quantities of some parts (both Dynaco and Hafler) are very limited as can be expected. Vintage Electron Inc. has no affiliation with the old SV/SCC company and we do not provide repair services at this time for any of the Sound Valves brand products.
