Description: Sony TFM-8100W VHF WB FM AM Radio for parts or repair * Item shows signs of wear (scratches/scuffs/nicks/dings/stains ( maybe paint over spray)/discoloration). The Sony badge on the front is missing. On the back of the radio the long metal badge/strip is coming away on one side The radio does power with (3) C size batteries, not included) . The radio is able to pick up AM/FM/Weatherband stations but seems to have an issue with the volume control which crackles a lot and interferes with what you can hear. The speaker sounds good, The TONE control is functional but produces speaker crackling when adjusted. Not familiar with the AFC control and do not know how to verify if it is working correctly. The dial needle is sometimes not straight across the display. The antenna is good, the light doesn't seem to work, The ports on the back of the unit were not tested, working conditions are unknown. This is sold for parts or repair and will need attention to be a working radio again. * See photos for more details.
