Physically, this PlayStation is in excellent overall condition for its age with cosmetic wear consistent with age and use. The exterior glossy plastic of the console has minor scratches and marks. The right-hand portion of the bottom case appears to have minor UV fade. Some marks and scratches on the body may be able to be reduced or removed by polishing. Functionally, this PlayStation is in flawless condition. The console's CPU and GPU have been refreshed with high quality ARCTIC MX-4 thermal interface material on their respective heatspreaders for improved running temperatures and optimal reliability. The CELL processor and RSX graphics processor have been delidded and both have high quality Honeywell PTM7950 applied directly to their respective dies for even further temperature reduction. The console has the latest system firmware of 4.91 installed on its original 60GB hard drive. This PlayStation 3 has accepted, ejected, read and played PlayStation 2 and 3 games and performed all other major and minor functions perfectly and without issue.
