Description: Sony MHC-GS100 60 Disc CD Changer Mini HiFi Stereo System + Manual, No Remote Selling as-is for parts / repair * The unit powers on and plays the radio* The tape deck on top plays tapes but after a while it kept eating my tape and stopping, I believe it needs to be demagnetized but I don't have a demagnetization tape on hand* I believe the belts for the cd mechanism need replacing as the unit will make a motor noise but the cd slots will not move* I found a schematic online and it looks like there are two belts inside, I’m not a professional so this is not a guarantee but I believe those being gummed up / worn out after 20+ years is likely the issue - the belts can be found on Amazon * There are some scratches on the top of the unit primarily* The speakers are not included, just the main unit, also no remote but the manual is included * The back of the unit lists the Model as HCD- GS100, the front and the manual list it as MHC-GS100 from 2002* The unit is heavy, I will double box it to protect it the best I can and the shipping rate will be calculated based on the size, weight, and distance so the closer you are the cheaper it will be, I apologize in advance for the expensive shipping* Again this is sold as-is for parts intended for someone willing to repair or use it as-is
