He also rented Singer sewing machines and eventually had at least 3 other locations. Over the years, several former employees of this business went on to open their own clothing / tailoring business. After a mostly successful 100+ year run, Young went out of business in 1971. *Until 1901, the village of Ossining was known as Sing Sing. It changed its name to avoid the stigma of association with Sing Sing Correctional Facility, which is still Ossining's largest employerScarce. Showing mostly minor signs of wear and handling consistent with their age. Expected fold creases from posting. Light toning / staining. No major issues to note.
