The Tracy-Collins Bank was founded by Russel Lord Tracy in 1884 and was initially called Russel L. Tracy Company. In 1902 the name was changed to Tracy Loan and Trust Company. In 1945 the name was changed again to Tracy-Collins Trust Company. This name change was caused by James W. Collins, appointed as president of the company when Russel L. Tracy retired. The name was changed for a final time in 1960 to Tracy-Collins Bank and Trust Company. It had become an official commercial bank in 1956. Tracy-Collins was purchased by Continental Bank in 1969, which was later purchased by West One Bank. Founder of Tracy Aviary in Liberty Park, and Philanthropist.
