The solid opal has a weaved lattice on the underpart of the ring to allow light through but also guarantee that your opal is housed safely in its setting and was placed there, never to move again. Semi black with a darker tone. On each side of the shank is a triangle raised relief with a small white sapphire that is faceted and 'winks' as you turn your hand to the side. The opal is a domed 12mm by 10mm gemstone with a true black base ... some of the fire patterns resemble rippling clouds, almost like gazing up into the sky to the heavens. It quite something and not your everyday opal that's for sure! Weight is 5.6 grams. It's all about the opal and any opal collector would be proud to own this piece.
