Not the best tool for cutting or chopping big logs, but makes a good hatchet for smaller stuff. It could use a bit of a sharpening. The grip was repaired at one point. The top through-bolt looks like some sort of replacement and the scales were glued into place with gorilla glue. The grip is SOLID. Perfectly useable hand axe.
