Description: Socket A/462 Combo MB/CPU/DDR/Ethernet/USB2.0 MSI KT3 Ultra AMD Athlon XP 2000+ This auction includes much of the hardware needed to set up a Socket A/462 PC system with AMD Duron and Athlon XP era CPUs, perhaps for a DOS gaming rig, for a young person just getting into PCs and hardware, or even for old timers looking to satisfy that nostalgia. All these items were tested together as a set and are compatible. Please see the photos, which were taken on this running system. Items included:1) MSI KT3 Ultra motherboard with original box and user's guide.2) AMD Athlon XP 2000+ (1.667GHz) CPU with OEM heat sink.3) 1 DIMM of 256MB PC2700 DDR333 memory. Note: This memory has a high latency which exceeds the capability of the motherboard to adjust for it at full speed. As a result, I have the motherboard configured to run the memory at 266MHz (HCLK setting in BIOS) rather than at 333MHz).4) Ethernet card.5) 5-port USB 2.0 PCI card.6) 1 UltraDMA cable, 1 IDE cable, and 1 floppy cable.7) MSI D-bracket, providing diagnostic LEDs and 2 USB 1.1 ports at the rear panel.7) CDs containing the original motherboard drivers and software for the Ethernet card and USB card. Just to be clear, the following items, which were used solely for testing, are not included: power supply, video card, hard drive, optical drive, floppy drive, keyboard, mouse, monitor. Basically, if you don't see it in the photos, it is not included. This will be shipped using buyer's choice of the primary 3 shippers: FedEx, UPS, or USPS. When you check-out, you should be able to choose from among the three. Regardless of choice, I will pass on any shipping discount I get from eBay to the buyer.
