Description: This is a smoky quartz, very dark, ring with silver setting as shown. It is a size 8. The stone measures 3/4" x 1/2" The brighter photos appear to show a crack down the center, but that crack cannot be felt on the stone surface of the ring and it has always been like this since I bought it new in 1970. Seldom worn and put away for the past 50 years. Silver setting and a heavy ring at .5 ounce total. I bought this in 1970 at a local antique shop in Old Saybrook, CT. The store sold eclectic items in the styles of the late 1960s and early 1970s. They had so many beautiful stone and silver rings and this ring intrigued me. Never exposed to smoke, perfume, scent of any kind. I just put it away 50 years ago.
