And for the serious Jerry Garcia Fans - and all of the Grateful Dead Fans out there - this one is really a ' must-include ' in your Garcia Collection ! And Why ? Simple ... There are Two ( 2 ) Jerry Garcia Band tracks on this release - featuring ' newly ' ( at the time ) recorded music performed by the Jerry Garcia Band ! Both " Cigarettes And Coffee " & " Smoke Gets In Your Eyes " !! And Fans ... I'm pretty certain these were the Very Last / Final project-recorded tracks ever by Jerry Garcia in 1995 - before his untimely passing on August 9th, 1995. I do know that Garcia did do some studio recording with David Grisman in his Mill Valley Home, well - as the story goes ... the Last / Final track Jerry ever played was " Blue Yodel # 9 " - and though I may be incorrect on this ... I believe ! he played it on the same 1930's Gibson Guitar that he chose to use when playing for the " Smoke " Video ! Pretty cool, indeed ... So basically, if you want to acquire & hear the Final Two ( 2 ) Studio Tracks recorded by the Jerry Garcia Band - for any professionally released project - well ... here you go - straight from 1995 ! And seriously, two very-fine songs at that. I had to have this one - for obvious reasons ... and thinking all I really needed was the J.G.B. on here - but Wow ! was I wrong ... as over the years - this one has truly become a personal favorite " Soundtrack " listen of mine ! As it definitely turned me one to some other music - musical styles - and other very talented & interesting Musicians.
