Description: This piece is also listed at Century Time Watches, so may end early. Smiths W10 1494/69 issued to British Army. This W10 is in nice condition with a lovely patina aged dial and handset. Smiths issued these to the Ministry of Defence between 1967 and 1970. This piece was designated for used by the British Army, and is stamped W10. The case back is still extremely sharp with clear and legible engravings. Overall this is a very nice example of a Smiths W10. The case is in good shape and appears nice and sharp with good edges and lugs. The movement runs well, but has not been serviced by me. I will include 3 months mechanical warranty from the date of sale. All parts are original and the 60466E movement is dated correctly, 29. February (2) and 1969 (9). Smiths W10s have become extremely collectable and nice examples are becoming harder to find. Case 35mm. Lugs 17mm. Comes on a new unworn tan Nato band as seen.
