It also comes with an original cardboard shipping box. Models 27, 28 and 57 revolvers will also fit in it. This presentation box is new old stock and has NOT been used. The exterior has light handling marks from us double checking it. The hinges are intact and the top opens and closes smoothly. The front latches are functional. The gold metal finish remains intact and shows no sign of patina coloring. The wood stain finish is in Very Good Plus - Fine condition. The top of the box has the Smith and Wesson logo debossed into the wood along with "SMITH & WESSON". The interior top has a piece of foam securely attached to the wood and it has blue flocking. There are no rips and tears in the foam, the flocking has no flaking or unusual wear and the coloring is pristine. The bottom interior appears to be a form fitted mold for a 6" barrel revolver with a velvet-like cloth cover. We cannot verify the material below because the cloth is glued on tightly. There are molds for a cleaning rod and other tools. There are no rips or tears in the cloth and the coloring is intact with no signs of discoloration. Smith & Wesson tools are NOT included with this box. The presentation box comes with its original cardboard shipping box. There are wrinkles, tape residue, dog earring and discoloration on the shipping box. This wooden presentation box will be perfect for your favorite S&W 29-10 Classic revolver, or any S&W revolver with a 6" barrel.
