Description: I have for sale a vintage Smith Corona 88 manual typewriter. It’s just the typewriter, no case. I’ve tested the typewriter out and all keys do actuate and retract. They are a little stiff, so it obviously needs a cleaning and oiling. On the front you can see some wear, especially where the carriage return lever has hit the housing as well as some rust under the Clear key. Minor scuffs and scrapes throughout, but nothing terribly bad. There’s a little bit of oxidation on the inside and part of the chassis in back, but I don’t see any real damage. Back cover holds tight. You also get some Smith Corona inked ribbon, new old stock. Absolutely no idea how old or if it even fits this model of typewriter but I figured I’d include it.
