McBrien c 1997 First Edition Outer binding has a “ThriftBooks” sticker attached. Otherwise, good condition. The Vatican Diaries John Thavis c 2013 Good condition. Author note and signature near front of book reads: “Richard, I’ve never met anyone so funny NOT in a bar! Thanks for the John Paul II jokes. John Thavis” John Paul II The Story of My Life Collected Memories Compiled by Saverio Gaeta c 2011 Good condition; some nicks and dings. Bottom right corner has some damage; back cover has numerous pressure dots, like someone bore down with a ball point pen, only without ink. Lastly, inner front has handwritten “Thomasville 5-1-11” Mother Roots The Female Ancestors of Jesus Helen Bruch Pearson c 2002 First Printing Very nice condition. The Gospel of Gabriel A Life of Jesus The Christ Edward Hays c 1996 2nd Printing September 1997 Fair-to-Good condition. Good overall, a bit more worn than I would consider strictly “good.” Jesus His Life and Teachings Joseph F. Girzone c 2000 First Edition This one is marginally fair. It’s readable, binding is good, but has a lot of wear, and has heavy foxing on the outer edges. There’s also a handwritten signature on the inner front pages “Denton O’Dell”. Oh… Brother Juniper! The account of the Life of a Lovable and Unpredictable Medieval Monk Rex Benedict (Illustrated by Joan Berg) c 1963 This must have been a school library book. The back has the torn remains of the envelope library cards were kept in; someone tried to remove it, but the glued part wouldn’t come off. It also has, on the back cover interior, handwritten “3rd Grade 1980” Good condition in general, but is old and yellowed with age. Way To Happiness Fulton J. Sheen An Inspiring Guide to Peace, Hope and Contentment c 1954 This book is just old and worn. Even beat up. The pages are legible, but show heavy signs of age and foxing. Very much wear. Spine is still good. Handwritten signature at inner front “Lida R. Atwater.” The Heavenly Man The remarkable true story of Chinese Christian Brother Yun with Paul Hattaway c 2002 Fair; lots of wear and aging. Binding is still good. The Fingerprint of God Recent Scientific Discoveries Reveal the Unmistakable Identity of the Creator Hugh Ross c 1991 Handwritten name in front “Frances Cofer” This book is very worn. It was somebody’s study material, because the book is full of handwritten marks and notes in the margins. Binding is good, pages are legible. Notes… are interesting at times. Left To Tell Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust Immaculee Ilibagiza with Steve Erwin c 2006, First Printing Adhesive bookplate inside front with original owner name and address Good condition; contains color photo inserts, and post card insert is still attached near the back cover. Witness Josyp Terelya An Autobiography Josyp Terelya with Michael H. Brown c 1991 Has a personalized inscription (not the author) inside the front cover. Same page, also has a dated signature and stylized fish logo by J. Terelya. “ThriftBooks” sticker on binding Book is in fair-to-good condition. Some wear, aging, but spine is good and pages are legible. Consecration to St. Joseph The Wonders of Our Spiritual Father Donald H. Calloway, MIC c 2020 Good condition. P209-213 has light penciling along the outer page edges, like it’s emphasizing a block of text. P217-238 looks like someone dropped their pen near the edge and it marked a range of pages on the very edges of the pages. It’s small, but worth noting. Lectio Divina Bible Study The Mass in Scripture Stephen J. Binz c 2011 Handwritten signature and bookplate on inner cover. Looks like a little water or coffee spill at the top of the first several pages. All pages are clearly legible, and binding is good. Lectio Divina Bible Study The Sacraments in Scripture Stephen J. Binz c 2011 Book is overall good, but also has (probably) a coffee stain on inside front cover and inside back cover. There is a bookplate on inner front cover, and an occasional yellow highlighter throughout the book. Binding is good, pages are clearly legible.
