Description: This truly wonderful Limoges hand-painted plate was probably made in the very early 1900s. It is artist signed on the right and features seashells on the bed of the ocean. There is seaweed flowing in the background with orb-like sea creatures floating about. The colors are absolutely stunning - muted blues and greens give you the feeling you are on the ocean floor. This is not a large plate (it measures 8 1/4 inches in diameter), but it would have a large impact displayed in any room of your house. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
