After preparatory work to set up the workshop, the production of original Erzgebirge wooden art products began in 1959. There was carving, turning, chippings were engraved. The range was continually expanded in the following years. Until 1989, a large proportion of the items manufactured were exported. After the political and economic changes in 1989, new markets and customers were acquired at home and abroad.
