SMALL ANTIQUE ENGLISH HALLMARKED STERLING SILVER TRINKET / PILL BOX, c. 1911

Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely small antique English oval Sterling Silver trinket box with English Hallmarks, c. 1911. This great little sterling silver box has a simple, elegant design with gadroon design around the lid's edge. The interior of the lid is hallmarked for Birmingham, Sterling Silver with maker's initials "D. & F." for Deakin & Francis with date letter for 1911. This lovely box is in excellent condition with the only noted flaw being a tiny ding just above the left edge of the back hinge. The hinge is good, opens and closes nicely. Measures 7/8" high, 2 7/8" long and 1" wide. Weighs 30 grams. We at Antiques & Moore have been in the Antiques business for over 30 years and try to describe our items as accurately as possible.
