Furthermore, the VLCI-X1 is equipped with STO (Safe Torque Off), 4 pairs of opto-isolated digital I/O’s and a pair of analog I/O. The VLCI-X1 implements a mnemonic type of command instruction set via a standard RS-232 serial communication interface. These commands can be executed directly or used to create programs that can be stored in the on-board flash memory.
