Description: Slightly Used Electric E-Cross 11-speed Bike: Haibike SDURO 7.0 TREKKING! Great holiday gift! Hello, I’m offering a VERY LOW mileage (only 120 miles total!) Haibike for sale. This is a pedal assist bike, you have to pedal to get the electric power added (the assist works up to 20 MPH). This is a great bike for casual riding, because you can turn on the power assist any time that you pedal. It works well both for road trips and off-road trips. The original cost of this great bike was $2,500 (plus tax!). I purchased this bike a few years ago for my wife who has a bad knee. We thought that the pedal assist would allow her to ride without knee issues. She only rode the bike a few times because she had knee pain even with the pedal assist. The bike has had very little use, less than 120 miles total, and is in like-new condition. I own another Haibike that has exactly the same features, except for a larger frame. My Haibike has gone over 9,500 miles and I ride it to work regularly. This Haibike has a sturdy aluminum frame, sized for folks from under 5 ft tall to about 5 ft 6 in tall. Its 'unisex' frame is equally good for men and women, and the seat height is easily adjusted. The front wheel has a suspension with a shock absorber that smoothes the ride over bumps, so the bike works well for both commuting or riding cross-country. This Haibike has a Bosch powertrain and battery, and of course an AC charger for the battery (recharging the battery takes about 4 hours). The computer that controls the electric power assist has five settings: 1) no power supplied, 2) ECO, 3) TOUR, 4) SPORT, and 5) TURBO. The range of the bike depends on the power level (the motor is rated 250 watts or about 1/3 horsepower continuous duty), and is displayed on the computer along with trip miles, ride time, ride average speed, ride max speed, clock, and overall mileage (you cycle through these by pressing the “i" button. All of these can be reset with the RESET button. The charge level of the battery is shown at all times. This is a single-shift DEORE XT 11-speed, and the shifter is on the handlebar, easily accessible when riding. The gear range is very wide and covers steep hill climbs all the way up to high cruising speed. The range using its battery-assist varies from ~20 miles in TURBO mode up to ~70 miles or so in ECO mode. Bright built-in headlight and taillight are controlled by the computer and powered by the main battery, so no other batteries to deal with. Other built-in safety features include both front and rear powerful hydraulic disc brakes, a rear-view mirror, and front and rear fenders (no splashing if the road is wet). The Haibike also has a kickstand and a rear rack with a spring clamp to hold things in place. All instructions and manuals are also included. However, I could not find this standard in the Operating Manual, which does say it meets standards ISO 4210 and DN EN 15194. Hopefully that is satisfactory.
