Description: Hello, This pot was made by the now closed Yamaaki kiln. It’s a nice pot and owning pots from this kiln gives you a quality made pot for a good value. And being that they have been closed since 2010, the price of them has only risen. -1st gen, he died in 1990 so it’s an older piece for sure. *Great older Yamaaki; these are tough to find these days. And it also contains some of the original tie downs for a forest planting. Usually one or several are broken off. I suggest NOT using them as I bet it’s easy for them to be broken off. Pots like this are irregular in shape/shape. I measured at the widest points the best I could. You can see a really rustic build.
