Description: 6X9 Vintage original photograph signed in ballpoint ink by Anthony Caro. Light edge trivial wear, otherwise excellent. (1924-2013) Sir Anthony Alfred Caro was an English abstract sculptor whose work is characterized by assemblages of metal using 'found' industrial objects. His style was of the modernist school, having worked with Henry Moore early in his career. He was lauded as the greatest British sculptor of his generation. This lot came from the Jim Wiggins collection we purchased in July 2022. Jim Wiggins accumulated the most unique and valuable autograph collection over a period of 70-plus years. He obtained his collection either in person or by writing to persons of fame and notoriety. Comes with a full Letter of Authenticity from Todd Mueller Authentics.
