It is approximately 52” fully extended and approximately 20” collapsed. Used but not abused. Please see pictures. This does not have the neoprene sheath/case or retractor. The item pictured is exactly what the buyer will receive. It has cables attaching the sections together and is more durable and lasts much longer than the elastic on other wading staffs on the market. It has a button that locks it into place in seconds and when pushed down, it allows the staff to be collapsed in sections to fit into the sheath. It opens and collapses smooth and fast as it should. This is an extremely well made durable product built to last! I personally use this model and it is the best on the market!
