Description: This 1940’s copy of The Silver Princess in Oz by Ruth Plumly Thompson and illustrated by John R. Neill is in excellent condition. The binding is tight, gutters intact, cover illustration clean and complete with almost no wear; there are no color plates in this volume as they had been phased out of the Oz series around 1935. Featuring red cloth covers, and blank endpapers, it is clean throughout with no markings inside except for a small mark at the top of the front endpaper (see pics). Some slight foxing is apparent in the paper stock, as is typical. The cover measures 7” x 9.25”, the text block measures approximately 9” x 6.4”, 255 numbered pages. A lovely later copy in excellent condition ready to join your collection.
