Description: Description: A silver flat charm / pendant made to commemorate the Century 21 Exposition (also known as Seattle World's Fair) held in Seattle, Washington, USA in 1962. The charm depicts the "Space Needle" observation tower which still stands and is an icon of the city. The fair was open for 6 months during which time 10 million people visited, with the "Space Race" underway the major themes of the fair were space, science and the future. Total weight 1.2 grams. Please note I have photographed this on a silver chain to show how it looks but the chain is not included, the price is for the pendant only. Identifying Marks / Makers Marks: Stamped on the reverse "STERLING". Age / date of manufacture: 1962. Size: Measures 1" (2.5 cm) x 7/8" (1.1 cm) at the widest points without the hanging loop.
