To attach the main rotor (propeller) there are three pieces to the entire rotor (propeller) and they are stacked on top of each other and held in with machine screws and hex nuts. Once the rotor (propeller) is assembled, slide the entire piece over the top and finally hold it all together with the top piece. Once the rotor is together, the helicopter model is ready to be suspended as long as the hex nuts are secured. This model is the manufacturer's artistic interpretation of a Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane helicopter and so some details are not entirely correct.
