Description: “INTROSPECTION”, 1988 SIGNED ORIGINAL ACRYLIC PAINTING BY THE AMERICAN ARTIST BILL BREWER (1955-2022) This remarkable painting, created by the Oregon artist Bill Brewer, is an excellent example of the artist’s early figurative work from 1988. The medium is acrylic on Masonite panel, measuring 48 x 24 inches in size. Signed and dated by the artist in the center right: BILL BREWER 1988. The painting comes framed. The frame measures 54 3/4 x 30 3/4 inches. CONDITION: The painting is in excellent original condition, with no evidence of any damage to the image. The frame is also in excellent condition. Bill Brewer, an Oregon based contemporary artist, created stylized figurative paintings. Speaking about his process, Brewer noted that "sometimes the paint leads...the color leads...the form leads. It's a conversation between the artist and art work. Painting, sculpture, doing art is a process of discovery." Numerous galleries, such as the Augen Gallery in Portland, OR, have featured Bill Brewer's work in the past. His works are in many private collections including the Washington State Arts Commission; Nordstrom, Seattle, WA; S.F.C.
