I've been reading this off and on for 30+ years and I keep it in the truck with me whenever I'm in Nevada.There are other good references for specific areas in Nevada that provide more detail, but this is an early work and is quite comprehensive. Anyone with an interest in Nevada history will find this book an invaluable source.Because of the age of the book, most of the "modern day" descriptions are woefully out of date.
