From an estate and pre-owned but I don't know the exact age of this brooch. A beautiful enameled Iris flower brooch measuring approximately 2 5/8" tall. Gold-tone plated metal with purple, yellow and green enamel. Marked MFA on the back as pictured for the Museum of Fine Arts who made this brooch. The camera makes the colors look brighter on the dark background, please consider this when viewing. The enamel is very shiny and there are many reflections in the photos, no cracks, chips, damage or repairs. There's an area of enamel near clasp that flowed onto the back from the making. It feels smooth, does not affect any function or appearance and is pictured in the last photo. Mentioned for the record. No damage or repairs to enamel or metal, closure works properly. Very good to excellent pre-owned condition.
