Description: Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Signature Housewares Sorrento Ruby Single (1) Salad Plate. The salad plate is part of a much larger set currently up for sale, so be sure and check out my many other lots! The plate measures 8.25” in diameter and has a ruby red base, and an embossed leaves design. The salad plate is marked “Sorrento, Debby Segura Designs © 2007, for Signature Housewares Incorporated, Microwave and Dishwasher Safe, Stoneware, Made in China.” Some plates may have a slight variation of this backstamp. The set is active with production beginning in 2007. Condition: Overall, the salad plate is in good used condition for its age but does show moderate wear and moderate utensil scratching. Please note that the salad plates are not “like new” and do show moderate wear and utensil scratching. Additionally, many plates display some wear along the rim, light fading due to the modern dishwasher, or have other minor imperfections attributed to light use, storage, or manufacturer defect. I have attempted to highlight these imperfections to the best of my ability in the photos. Otherwise though, the plates were acquired as part of a much larger set with little history known; however, no major condition issues (such as chips, cracks, or crazing) were noticed upon a thorough inspection. I do not feel that the imperfections mentioned above greatly compromise the condition of the pieces, especially if paired with a moderately used set.
