A large oval (12mmLx9mmW) Sierra Madre Purple Opal stone (3.85ct) is the centerpiece of this prong-set high profile ring. The 4 cardinal points of the ring are set with marquise cut amethyst stones (6mmLx4mmW). There are two smaller marquise amethyst stones (4mmLx2mmW) set point-to-point with each of the 4 larger marquise stones. The openwork filigree of the face is accented with a diamond point that is set between the curls of the scrolls. (TDiaWt 0.020cts) (TGW 5.47cts) The face of the ring measures about 25mmLx24mmW. The under-gallery is finished, and the gallery is done in openwork that rises to form the prongs, about 12mm vertically from the bridge to the face of the opal, creating the high-profile effect. The band measures about 2mm at the base. The setting is done in platinum overlay sterling silver, is marked "STS 925" and is nickel free. This ring comes in a *box and is in the original Liquidation Channel wrapper. The Liquidation Channel identification band is still fastened through the ring. One is available.
