It is made of cream colored/beige hard plastic with two decorative contrasting dark chocolate brown horizontal stripes near the bottom and a brown lid. It has a glass liner that keeps beverages hot or cold - perfect when entertaining guests. It will keep coffee or tea hot for a long time. It stands 10" tall and measures 5-1/2" wide at its round base. The bottom reads:"THERMOS, No. 810, Norwich, Ct., USA, Brentwood, Essex, UK, Sheree, Made in West Germany". It shows light signs of use (nothing serious); otherwise it is in excellent condition with no nicks, cracks or leaks - just a little wear on the bottom.
