Description: Hi, and, thank you for stopping by to look at this Shelton Number 9 Smooth Sole Bench Plane. The plane has scratches, dings, and staining/discoloration. There is light pitting on the sole, and other metal parts. The cutter will need tuning up. I don't think the tote is original to the plane. Both handles are okay, with normal wear. The plane will need a little more cleaning. Please look over the photos carefully. I do not see any repairs or cracks on the plane body. All moving parts work. Lightly cleaned, and oiled.
