Description: READ THE DESCRIPTIONSSCRUTINIZE THE PICTURESASK QUESTIONSNO REFUNDS OR RETURNS This is a vintage Sheffield Steel "Bismarck" straight razor with an etched 6/8 inch wide (.79" - .80") blade, and black celluloid scales that are pressed in a ribbed design and inlaid with a round German-silver disk. The blade is etched, "Bismarck," along with an etched portrait of Otto von Bismarck, a Prussian statesman and diplomat who oversaw the unification of Germany and died in 1898. The blade's tang is marked on one side, "Sheffield Steel, Made in Germany." The reverse is stamped with an image of the Statue of Liberty The blade shows little evidence of hone wear. There are no nicks in the cutting edge and it's free of any cracks. The blade has a 3 inch cutting edge and seems to be the original full length. The blade is mostly free of surface rust and pitting. The scales aren't warped. They were repaired on one side with sheet metal and pegs (see pictures). The blade fits snugly between the scales. Insurance is required on all shipments and will be charged with a handling fee and included in the shipping quote. Handling fee reflects Ebay’s change in policy where they now charge the seller a 10% commission on the shipping costs.
