Description: Sevres Style Watteau Scene & Gold Floral Scrollwork 8 3/8 Inch Plate Nice antique late 19th or early 20th century French porcelain scalloped edge plate. Decorated with a Watteau courting couple scene in the center. White border with gold floral scrollwork designs. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse with pseudo spurious Sevres marks in green, blue, and red. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 8 3/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
