Description: The National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) was a United States federal agency founded on March 3, 1915, to undertake, promote, and institutionalize aeronautical research. On October 1, 1958, the agency was dissolved and its assets and personnel were transferred to the newly created National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). NACA is an initialism, i.e., pronounced as individual letters, rather than as a whole word (as was NASA during the early years after being established). Each year, NACA produced an "Annual Report". This report included the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics letter of submittal to the President, a Congressional report, summaries of the committee's activities and research accomplished, bibliographies, and a financial report. This listing is for the Seventh Annual Report for NACA for 1921, published in 1922 by the Government Printing Office. Overall it is in VERY GOOD CONDITION. The report has been preserved in a reclosable sturdy binding which has kept the report very clean and undamaged. The original report spine has been exposed and shows wear with paper loss, and the spine shows the owner name, year, and a library code. This previous owner also inked name on the front cover. Finally, there is a sleeve behind the back cover with two unused library cards, indicating this book was part of a library at one point. The book has 814 pages, with many within text graphs, charts, and photos. B130
