This is a very pretty magazine. The cover is beautiful as is the interior. Not only are the 354 generously sized pages (13 1/2'' x 10'') filled with the best of 1972 fashions but there are also numerous vintage ads and interesting articles. But what really sets this magazine apart is its condition. The color is vibrant and unfaded, there were no marks, curled corners, ripples, writing or other damage when inspected. Even the two inserts are still in place. You may note a few pages in the middle and a few others near the end that have tiny 'nicks' along the edges but a closer look reveals the paper itself was flawed before it was printed. The covers and spine are in almost new condition with slight edge wear. The back cover has a small spot of color loss and a tiny split on the lower left edge which are visible in the photo. The listing photos show only a small sampling of the full color fashion pages. There is so much variety and so many photos It was difficult to choose among them for this listing. There are also black and white ads and photos, characteristic of the time period. Notice the references to home sewing, a huge craze at the time, and how thoroughly contemporary some of the fashions still look.
