Description: For your consideration is group of 6 framed etchings titled Scenes In Marblehead by Chas. A. Walker. They were published in 1886. I believe they originally came as a set in a folder or case. It appears the frames are mid 20th century? The frames measure 7 1/4" by 8 3/8" and the mat openings are 3" by 5". The previous owner saved a portion of original folder as a backing on one of the etchings (see photo). Her framer opened each frame by cutting the paper backing on three sides and pulled the original mat and print out. All 6 prints have had new archival mats and backing installed (see photos). Paper backing now being held by tape on 3 sides as shown. The previous owner wanted to keep all original framing house labels and original publishing info. Some light wear on frames as shown.
