Description: Elegant Sparkling 2 hole clear Crystal Glass This listing is for 3 Fabulous European antique glass buttons. The buttons are slightly concave and the edge looks like prism cuts. They really are lovely. The edge has a painted rim. You will see some lines in the blow up that is just representative of there age. They are quite nice for being almost 100 years old . The buttons are not waterproof. These buttons measure 7/8 inch across and are sew through buttons. You will absolutely love these buttons. They were taken off a badly deteriorated card and sewn to a card that was reproduced from the early 1900's. These buttons originally came on a card of 24 that was designed for the Haute Couture clothing industry. These have never been used or been in circulation before. They were manufactured for sale in the early 1900’s. I purchased them from a family member of the original business owners in Europe that had them in storage since WWII. These are wonderful pieces of history that can only add to your crafting projects. These buttons have been stored since the 1920’s ’s so time has stood still for them and they are in new condition. These beautiful glass gems would add a touch of history and beauty to any project whether it is used for sewing or jewelry. I promise you the pictures do not do them justice.
