Description: Original 20mm Bench dogs with 100% satisfaction guaranteed. This is a set of 4 machined Precision Bench dogs made to fit 20mm holes on your Festool MFT/3.When used on a Festool MFT/3 table Precision Bench dogs make your stock alignment a breeze for 90/45 angle cuts, calibration of your tracks and fence, etc. Both sizes (Standard Dogs and Short dogs ) have a M8 tapped hole. This feature can be implemented in jigs. Standard dog has a head height of 10mm and spiral groove for easy grip. Short dog has a head height of 5mm and an offset from center groove for easy grip. The anodizing on these dogs is a non-fading black Sulfuric Type II done per Mil-A-8625 process. Benefits of anodized over raw (polished) aluminum: -Improved surface hardness and abrasion resistance -Improved resistance to staining ( easier to clean, remove dried glue, etc )-Non-fading component will guarantee that part will stay black which will make them easier to spot among your tools when needed.-Corrosion resistance compared to stainless steel. Please note that they will not fit if you have an older style MFT or the size of your holes is smaller than 20 mm. Standard Precision dogs provide enough clearance to work with 0.5 inch material or thicker. Short Precision dogs provide enough clearance to work with 0.25 inch, 8 mm or thicker material (though for thick material we recommend using Standard dogs).
