Description: This set of two Toyo Sasaki rain design clear glass bowls would be perfect for 1 scoop of icecream, candy's or individual side bowls of pretty much anything. These are also Vintage 1970's modern Japanese designed and an excellent choice for a collector or for the home decor enthusiast. The bowls have a unique uneven design and from what I understand they were sold under the name rain because of the way in which the glass appears to have rain running down the side of them. These sweet bowls carry an air of elegance to any table setting. Both bowls have a diameter of 3-1/2"- 4" and is nearly 3" deep. Each bowl weighs 7 ounces and is made of high-quality glass. I recommend hand washing and maybe dishwasher top shelf use. These bowls are perfect for serving candy, nuts, or any other small treats. Add them to your collection or use them as a decorative piece in your home. My memories are of my Nanny using these as mini ice-cream bowls for all of us grandchildren. Perfect for little hands, big eyes, and small tummys. Lol!!
