Description: Set of 2 Matching Gorham Pewter Octagonal bowls - The larger is 7.75” diameter and coded PH6 on the bottom by the Gorham hallmark The smaller is 4” diameter and coded PH3 on the bottom. These are from the 1970s and were rarely, but gently used. Unlike silver, pewter doesn’t tarnish….it will darken, but responds easily with a bit of Barkeepers Friend cleaner. Neither is dented or deeply scratched .Both have a lovely, soft shine with fine patina and a few small darker areas on the inside which may respond to firmer polishing.
