Description: I have for sale two sets of solid brass bells, typically used around the holidays, especially Christmas. These are "vintage" in that I recall having them hung on a set of French doors at my parents house in the 1980's. I do not know when they were purchased, but it is difficult to find bells that are solid brass and not just brass plated steel (which eventually pits). Even the weights and hangers inside each bell are solid brass. The ring at the top is solid brass. The set weighs almost 3 lbs. Very elegant. Some specs: 20" total length with each bell 3.25" height and 2.5" diameter. The brass colored ropes connect to a single 3.5" diameter brass ring for each set. Both sets weight 2lb 13oz together. There must be some type of clear coat on all the brass, otherwise the pieces would have a lot more tarnish. I've never polished them. These are certainly "not sold in stores" any longer.
