Set (6) Drinking Tumblers, American Brilliant Cut Glass Crystal Straus Hobstars

Description: This is a Rare set of (6) matching full size tumblers. Measures: 3-3/4" tall by 3" wide top rim. This set was cut by Straus. It is seen on pg. 126 in the Straus Macy catalog printed by the ACGA. The picture for these tumblers are not found in the section with a pattern name, but within the Straus Ads section in the back where you could order this cutting as "#15D29102" and you can see the side with the cluster design drawn in this ad. They did not show the alternate angle with the hobstar but this is that tumbler & cutting. They are extremely rare.It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1915) which is over 100 years old now! I am a long time collector & I know what ABP cut glass is. I never sell other types of glass as ABP cut glass so you can be assured this is genuine. Unfortunately today so many resellers are not educated in ABP Cut glass and misrepresent their items. You wont have that issue here, shop with confidence. Condition: This is 110+ years old- but for the age this set is in pretty good condition. These are the original rims and how they were made. These are gorgeous and extra brilliant shiny.
