Description: Set of 4 vintage Gien faience soup, salad, or pasta bowls. They measure about 8 1/4'' across. Very vintage and rare pattern, lovely blue transfer of a countryside scene. As you can see in photos, one of the bowls has become yellowed with age. All of the bowls have crazing. They do not have any large chips or cracks, only small manufacturing marks, and are otherwise in good vintage condition. They would be beautiful hung on a wall, but also be wonderful as part of a blue and white place setting. Beautiful set of French faience plates, wonderful quality from Gien.
