Description: SENSATION COMICS #30 Blue Spirit Mystery!D.C. Comics 1944 Nice copy of this rare book with incredibly vibrant colors! Front cover has a piece missing at the bottom with a tear another inch vertically into the cover. Other than that, the front is lightly worn with another small 1/2" tear at the bottom and tanning on the interior side. The back cover is in excellent shape with light wear and edge tanning. The cover and centerfold are attached at both staples and interior pages are in excellent shape. NOTE that this book is from an era when D.C. removed pages in the back of the book to arrive at the 60-page count, kinda weird but true. The centerfold staple is at page 16/17, so by removing 4 pages (those pertaining to pages 2, 6, 11, and 15), the total comes in at 60. This book is complete and I could not detect any type of restoration. PLEASE take a close look at the photographs and assess the condition yourself before purchasing. Shipping: Raw comic books are either sent in Gemini mailers (or similar) or sandwiched between sturdy thick cardboard pieces. Comic books are firmly attached to cardboard with blue painter's tape to ensure they stay put in transit and to make it easier for the buyer to unpack. Orders of up to 1 pound are shipped via USPS first-class mail. Orders over 1 pound are sent priority mail (note that comic books cannot be sent media mail per USPS regulations). All slabs are double boxed with ample packing material. Returns: Returns available for most raw comic books. I do not generally accept returns for graded books, but there are exceptions - I will accept a return if there is a defect in the slab due to CGC encasing or if the book is damaged during transit.
