This is all in heavy gold electroplating and this one features a low profile small footprint slim octagonal-square case with an attractive minimalist silver & gold concentric dial. The band is very sleek and silky to the touch and feels good on the skin. This will fit between 6.00 and 6.35 inches wrist sizes. I really like the earlier high-quality quartz watches by Seiko- this one is from 1981 and it has the bad-ass Seiko 2320A 8-jewel precision movement made in Japan, which is phenomenal! It's no wonder it's still keeping precision time today-- these are made to last forever, not kidding! Most of the earlier Seiko quartz watches have actual multi-jeweled ruby bearings quartz movements varying from 8-jewels all the way down to one jewel as time progressed into the 1980's and 1990's down to mostly no jewels today. This 2320A movement with 8 jewels is arguably the best miniaturized quartz movement they made! The cost of manufacturing a movement of this quality today would be quite cost prohibitive- in fact you'd have to pay in the many hundreds if not thousands of dollars in some cases to match this quality today. I personally have come to appreciate how nice these older Seiko quartz watches really are and they always sell well. Especially these older classic ladies quartz watches with the safety chain, such as this.. They are absolutely in demand today and for good reasons! The overall condition is fine. It has some minor wear- the crystal is better than average with less than normal wear & still looks very acceptable with wear that can really only be seen under magnification for the most part. I polished out most of it, so it looks quite decent and still reads well. The watch is in very clean condition, you'll be pleased. It has less than average overall wear. Still shines very nicely in the light. It's really an exceptional watch because of the far better high-end movement which blows away anything made today, generally speaking.
